Central and Western Andes (Choco Region) will be covered in this 14 days tour.This tour focuses on providing you with a high-quality birding experience. With a starting point in the city of Medellin, our first stop will be La Romera EcoPark searching for some endemics and specialties. Then we will head to the Colonial and friendly town of “El Jardín” The Garden, located in the Western Andes, where seeing the threatened Yellow-eared Parrot is possible. Before visiting the Magdalena valley, we will explore one of the most important tropical forests in Colombia, home to more than 250 species of birds, located in the Chocó region Las Tangaras reserve. We will find ourselves closing this trip in the Magdalena Valley, one of the top hotspots in Colombia, with a lot of stunning landscapes and birds.
