The most important environment is called The Andes of Colombia. Unfortunately, it is also almost one of the most degraded areas too. There are some wildlife areas with a possible option for recuperation, like the Bird areas, established as protective areas by the government. The andes are divided into: · Eastern, where the Colombian Capital (BTA) is located; with paramos, mountains and forest ecosystems. It is one of the longest montainous areas. · Central, is the ancient site between the three mountains. The difference is the high and wet ecosystem, so most of the different kinds of birds are located there. · Western, where the forest, mountains and paramos are very dry. However, it is still one of the richest and most biodiverse places in the world.
